If you have RSS links in your website and updated frequently, google will come back more often to visit your website.

Many websites are adding RSS to their pages. It is actually a xml file containing data. Adding a xsl page can transform the xml file into nice looking web pages. In other words it separates implementation of data and layout. Great for both programmers and content writers.

My usual way to submit URL is through free submission program like

Unluckily, some web site has articles saying it hurts the pagerank if you submit a URL like this. It is also not advised to submit to google using their submission page http://www.google.com/addurl/

The best appoarch is to have some high pagerank website linked to your website. Web Crawler will crawl website of high pagerank often, and follow the links and crawl them as well. So if you can have your link listed in those sites, you will be added into the searching database within 24 hours.
If your website is listed in popular search engine, you will be added automatically by others as a chain.

google adsense - techniques for more clicks

Most of the website will be using google adsense to place related ads on their website. Revenue is based on clicks. So more clicks means more profit. Of course you are not allowed to click on your own ads. It is against the google policy and you will risk banned. Be honey ! But still there is way is "cheat" visitors to click on the ads !!

There are many different dimensions of ads, but no matter what dimension you use, there is a tips for making the ads more likely to be clicked by visitor.

How ?
make the ads looks like part of your content !!
Make the background color of your google ads same as that in your webpage, and also set the border color to this color. Then your google ads will visually have no border and looks like page content.

Do whatever changes you think is proper. The main aim is to make the ads looks like it is your page content.

SEO - attract constant traffics by writing e-articles

write your own articles on topic of your interest and submit to e-publishers.
The article itself should contain your info, and you should place your website link there. Once your article is approved, e-publishers will send articles to its subscribers who will then read your articles and probably go to your website.

link popularity is a factor which most search engines used to rank your website.
Google has pagerank, if there is a lot of websites linking to your website, you will have a higher pagerank in google and thus rank higher in the search result.

There are several ways you can archive this:

1. write to administrators of high ranking websites and ask them to place your link into their link section. Probably you will place their link to your own website in exchange.
2. leave comments with your website link on pubic forums or blogs~~
3. write articles and submit to e-publishers

SEO -- what's next to compete for a high ranking

go to google.com, search on the target keyword your website has planned to work on.
Then check the top ranking website, learn from it, and do better.

How to do better ? Here's some basic practices...

1. place keyword in <h1> tag in very top of the page (maybe hidden cell)
2. place keyword phases as the first word in <title> only, and contain no more than 3 keywords
3. On your webpage, set your first graphic with ALT set to your target keyword
4. build a text based sitemap, add ALT if it is an image
5. OPML / RSS site map
6. bold or underline keyword (1 or 2 times only)
7. The key word/phrase should be used again very near the end of the page.
8. try to register a good domain name with keyword (I guess keyword in subdirectory is ok)
9. navigation menu on the right, since googlebot looks from top and left

To start with, I have to thanks google adsense. It projects a new way of getting revenue from your web site. Small business are starting to gain from this affilate program.

Before all words, the most important point is to attract traffic. More traffic means more probability of your ads got clicked.
